Okay but can we talk about how this animal who has presumably never operated a camera before was able to take not one but two really good selfies without a mirror and on the first fucking try, also whilst on the run from a disgruntled photographer I mean come on

Ok first off the photographer had been photographing them for a while and he set the camera up so that they would play with it. He set up the exposure/focus/aperture, and had the artistic vision to let the monkeys take the picture. This makes the photographs strictly his intellectual property, and wikipedia refusing to remove it cost him thousands of dollars in lost revenue. The monkeys took hundreds of photos, most of which were blurry/out of focus/badly composed. This is an example of wikipedia stealing an artists work and then obfuscating the issue with a stupid claim.
